Chummeng Soun is an artist and academic from Cambodia. The theme of his discourse is rooted in his desire to preserve, amplify, and academically validate the traditional Khmer arts almost lost during the Khmer Rouge. Stemming from a progressive, multi-cultural mindset, Chummeng’s approach lies in both traditional and contemporary, representing a new generation of Cambodian artists, changemakers, and scholars.
